Dress Code Discussion
District dress code must be followed.
PTSA/School may need to provide shawls (spaghetti straps).
Dress casual clothing-semi-formal. Nice but not formal. Have an explanation. Provide guidelines. If in doubt, bring it in by date.
Legacy Discussion Walk way
PRIDE in athletics (Front office, gym)
Food Discussion (Ms. Erra will discuss and meet) Could be through District food services (burgers, hot dogs) (BBQ, Italian, Mexican)
Families will pay for the meal.
Students shared: Will need to poll students.
Dessert: Cake for the students.

4-1-10 Great Skate night (all monies will go towards promotion)
Cold Stone, Red Robin, TGIFs restaurant night-Some of the $ will go towards promotion.

Ideas/Share-Outs
Request for 3 different areas for photo opportunities (One formal, one humorous, one with Greybeard).
7th grade teachers will select students to serve on the committee.
Food services coordinator has done similar things for the school.
Discussion of a dedication brick from the promoting 8th graders.
Student council will come back with three suggestions from the 8th graders after spring break. This should be ready by mid-April.
Discussion about whether this is a dual celebration/ceremony.
Slide show includes 10 seconds, bullets with three-four points. Student name.
Slideshow-running throughout the evening. Less formal playing in background. This will be looped outdoors. May need a screen to project upon. (appx. $150.00)
Promotion is Wednesday p.m. 8th graders leave earlier that day.
Concern about Pirates Cove. (Possibly going to the computer lab, LMC, etc.)
